On the Atlassian preferences page, when a user clicks "Unsubscribe all", the confirmation message displayed is:
"You are now unsubscribed from all marketing communications."

However, this can be misleading. The preferences page includes sections like Product Invitations and Surveys, which are also unchecked when "Unsubscribe all" is used. Despite this, the message only refers to marketing communications, not clarifying that other categories like technical communications, product alerts, and invitations are also affected.

Since the Invitations setting is particularly important and not typically considered part of marketing communications, the message should be improved to reflect the broader impact of the action.

Suggested improvement:

“You are now unsubscribed from all communications including marketing, technical updates, product alerts, and invitations.”

This would help users better understand what they’re opting out of and prevent unintentional missed communications.
