Problem Definition
Currently when a user fails to login to https://id.atlassian.com , the site administrators of Atlassian Cloud site where that account has access are not able to track login attempts related logs.
Suggested Solution
Site administrators could have these as additional information in the Audit Logs
Why this is important
- For better security within the system and also for use with external audit needs
- Site admins can potentially see login attempts through an IdP, but in regards to Identity as a service, this would exclude user accounts that might be on the site but not in the IdP.
Workaround
Using SAML with Atlassian Access may offer some solution from a Identity Provider perspective.
