It would be great if I could hide the Apps button from all users. This is because the button wastes our users time.
The button shows popular apps regardless they are installed or not. Clicking a popular app prompts the user to send a request to install it.
The button also shows "Find new apps", which leads to the Marketplace apps page where the user can search and look into apps. The user may send an install request of an app they find.
Those user activities are total waste of their time because there are tens of thousand of users on our instance hence it's not practical to listen to users' app installation requests. In addition, their ability to send installation requests gives users false sense of hope of having an app installed based on their request.
