Load third-party macros asynchronously with native page content

      User Problem

      Currently, third-party Confluence Connect macros load synchronously after the page loads. This causes perceived poor performance that is attributed to the app itself. For example, when loading a page with draw.io macros, users would see draw.io macros load last behind all native page content.

      Suggested Solutions

      To support asynchronous loading for third-party Confluence Connect apps' macros.

      Workaround

      Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
