Problem
Currently, Confluence Cloud only allows limited sender customization options, such as modifying the sender's name and the reply-to email address.
- These options are derived from the ability to customize the email domain used for sending Confluence notification emails.
- However, further customization capabilities are needed, similar to the request made in "AUTO-76" for Jira, specifically focusing on Confluence Cloud.
Suggested Solution
Enhance the email customization options in Confluence Cloud by allowing users to fully customize the "from" and "reply-to" addresses.
This would provide greater flexibility and consistency in email communication, aligning with organizational needs and branding requirements.
Why This Is Important
Customizing email domains and addresses is crucial for organizations to maintain consistent branding and improve communication professionalism.
It ensures that emails sent from Confluence Cloud align with the organization's domain, which can help in reducing email spoofing and increase email deliverability by meeting domain authentication protocols.
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
