Today, the rules for when a user can `move page` is implicit, relying on a combination of space permissions for the user.
User must have for:
Same space Moves | Cross-space Moves |
---|---|
1. create page permission in the space 2. ability to edit the page you are moving |
1. space admin in the source space 2. create page permission in the target space |
This request is to add an explicit `Move Page` permission to better handle cross-space moves. Historically, there have been concerns also flagged that cross-space moves requires delete permissions on the source space. This description is being updated since a recent vulnerability patch changed the rules for cross-space moves.
