View linked issue in the Customer Portal

      NOTE: This suggestion is for Jira Service Management Data Center. Using Jira Service Management Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Currently it is not possible to add Linked Issues in the customer portal.
      When adding the field in the request type field, the Show button will be greyed out, it says "This field type can't be shown in the customer portal".

      As a Service Desk administrator, I would like to configure the visibility of linked issues to appear in the Customer Portal as it is helpful in some user cases.

            We would also greatly appreciate this feature, since we need to reference non-JSM projects for followups and only option is in the comment, which then makes it redundant for the actual linkage.
