      Update 15 May 2023

In January 2022, we launched a new forms feature for JSM Cloud, which addressed many requests for additional field support in the JSM Portal. We appreciate your feedback and patience as we continue to develop and improve this feature.

However, we acknowledge a current shortcoming in our system: we do not yet support the following picker fields in the Request Type > Request Form:

      • Project Picker
      • Group Picker
      • Version Picker

While these fields aren't currently in our development plan for FY24 (up to July 2024), we want to reassure you that we are aware of this limitation and are considering their inclusion in future updates.

Please note that the absence of a definitive timeline does not mean we won't support these fields in the future.

      Simon Herd,
      JSM - Principal Product Manager

As of 2022 the Customer Portal now has two field/form configuration experiences. The first are the fields configured under Request Type > Portal Form, which is the basis for this original issue. The new Project Settings > Forms can also be used in the Customer Portal.

The unsupported fields for Request Type > Portal Form are:

      • Group Picker
      • Project Picker
      • Version Picker
