      Description

      1. Login as an administrative user in Confluence Cloud.
      2. Go to Confluence Admin
      3. Under Administration, no option to Re-index.
      4. Visit URL manually (https://[domain].atlassian.net/wiki/admin/search-indexes.action), get not permitted message.
      5. Previously was able to do this.

            Running into all Page Properties Reports empty is really scary...and to be honest a pretty critical thing when you have to ping support and they have to do something...might be better to give this option to admins to give them the hopefully quicker resolution

            Hello, 

            please add this feature to confluence cloud. We have production confluence for 2 weeks, and I already had 2 communications with Atlassian support with regard to the reindex of our site. It takes me 15 to 30 minutes before we get to the point, then Atlassian support reindex site (which takes 15 minutes). On DC, it took me 3 minutes (+ reindex time) by clicking on reindex button . It would be very helpful to have this option in cloud, even Atlassian support would have more time for more serious problems.

            Hello. This feature would be valuable to implement for Confluence administrators.

            Recently, our users were unable to find pages in the cloud we know should be there. While doing a search, pages were not showing in the search in the standard UI. As well, we use Refined and users were unable to locate the blogs there either in the listing by year.

            Our users were unable to then view the page which caused concern and confidence for using Confluence cloud.

            Being able to content re-index as an administrator could give us the autonomy to resolve search issues ourselves and hopefully reduce the amount of inquiries Atlassian handles.

            If re-indexing is available as a tool, then it should be available to admins. If there are concerns, let it be Org Admins.

            In the light of the recent incident https://developer.status.atlassian.com/incidents/frvdsdj0s6gk where re-indexing was actually a fix, it could save Atlassian support quite a few man-hours  

            In the case above, the issue impacted not just search but also multiple apps that reported random errors after not being able to find a root page of a space.
