Old pages are not reindexed after new content property extraction is added in atlassian-connect.json

      Issue Summary

      After defining a new Content Property extraction in a Connect App descriptor (atlassian-connect.json) only new pages are indexed correctly and can be searched via CQL.

      Most likely a re-index will be needed to also search for existing pages but it is not possible to manually trigger a re-index in Cloud as per CONFCLOUD-33400

      This is reproducible on Data Center: no

       

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Update a Connect app by adding a new Content Property extraction in atlassian-connect.json
      2. Search for the content property

      Expected Results

      All pages matching the CQL are returned

      Actual Results

      Only the pages created or edited after the app update are returned.

      Workaround

      Contact Cloud Support to have your Confluence site re-indexed.
