In its current configuration, if you want to use the same Service Desk Schema across several projects, you have to copy the SLAs, the Customer Portal and Request Types, etc. by hand.
Please create schema for JSD that can be tied to a project or projects much like the behavior of the Issue Type Screen Schemes and Workflow Schemes.
