As a Confluence administrator I want to make sure that the notifications sent are actionable and reflect the recipients' expectation related to the content and format. I can change current email format (in Server) by manual editing the bundled plugin, but that is not an efficient way of doing so, and it is not supported for Cloud instances.
What I need is an email template editor in the Admin console so that admins can create customised email templates that are used for notifications and subscriptions.
It would also be ideal to have the ability to create and manage multiple email templates which could be then assigned to the relevant filter subscription or notification.

We have a related concern though for a very different reason.  We like the fact that users can be notificed on changes to a page or a space.  We do not like the fact that the specific content and page title of the modified page will be transmitted in the clear via email.  We want the content of our site to remain confidential.  The email mechanism is fine for notifications as long as none of the content from the site is transmitted.
