Allow me to control which notifications I receive emails for

      I would like to be able to control which types of notification events I receive an email for.

      For example, I wish to be notified by email when someone adds a new answer to a question I asked, but I don't want to get an email when someone up-votes my question.

      Currently there is no way to configure my notification preferences.
