    • We collect Jira Service Desk feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

      Summary

Customer portal should always use wiki style renderer for comment field so that attachments are accessible to customer. Customers are not able to access attachments when default text renderer is used.

      • Attachments links show as plain text and are not clickable when default text renderer is used.

[JSDSERVER-4957] Customer portal should always use wiki style renderer

For my organisation, it is a big issue to not have a "rich text" renderer for the portal.

Speaking generally, it's a big problem to not allow users to put inline screenshot along the text they wrote to describe their demand/incident.

We are currently evaluating the Jira Service Desk product and all the internal test report this as a main cons against the Jira Service Desk choice.
