Hello everyone,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We evaluated this ticket and understand that this is something we need to improve on. However, we will not be able to prioritise this at the moment as there are other items in the short term roadmap which are higher priority. We will definitely get back to you once we pick this up in our short term roadmap.
Regards,
Sushant Koshy, Product Manager, Jira Service Management
NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Service Desk Cloud. Using JIRA Service Desk Server? See the corresponding suggestion.
Problem Definition
When viewing issues in the Customer Portal view, the column with the comments use always the same amount of space (width) regardless of the width of the browser window.
In resolutions wider than 1680 this is less than 50% of the screen and makes it hard to read when pasting logs or other formats that are not just simple comments.
Suggested Solution
Make the width wider if browser window is wider.
No workaround
Using browser zoom it will make text occupy more screen space but because the size is bigger it will still make logs inside comments hard to read.
