When creating a new Service Desk request using create button request type field is set as No match.
Suggest a configuration to set the default value.
Hi all,
Thanks for your interest here. We have recently made changes to the create issue experience where we automatically select a request type when an issue type is selected and encourage users to select request types.
We are in the progress of figuring out how to select a default request type, rather than selecting the first request type alphabetically.
This is something we are looking to prioritise in the coming months and will get back to you all as soon as we know when we will be able to allocate a team to it.
In the meantime, I'd love to hear from you: Do the recent changes solve this problem or is there a strong need to be able to configure the default value for the request type yourself?
Best regards,
