Summary
Jira Chart (such as Workload Pie Chart) does not render multibyte characters correctly.
Environment
- Jira Cloud
- Confluence Cloud - when embedding the chart as a macro
Steps to Reproduce
- Add "Workload Pie Chart" to an arbitrary dashboard
- Confirm the estimation hours are correctly rendered such as "2h"
- Change your browser language to any non-ASCII language such as "Japanese"
- Confirm the estimation hours are incorrectly rendered such as "2□□"
Expected Results
The multibyte characters are correctly rendered.
Actual Results
The multibyte characters get garbled.
Notes
- This is possibly due to missing language packs and/or the lack of font files installed on the server side
