      Hi everyone,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and voting on this suggestion. We agree that improvements to pull request search would be a valuable addition to Bitbucket Data Center, but at this stage it is unlikely that we will be able to implement many of these ideas in the next 12 months. So, what are we doing instead? Over the past year, we have addressed many of the highly voted suggestions such as codeowners, resolveable comments, and auto-merge. Our upcoming roadmap also includes several other top voted suggestions such as dark theme, draft pull requests, and multi-line comments. For the most up-to-date information on what features are coming soon please visit our roadmap.

We do continually review these priorities and will continue to do so over the coming year to determine when and how we might be able to address this idea. You can learn more about our prioritization process here.

      Cheers,

      Sarah Bolt

      Hi all,

I'm excited to share that in Bitbucket Server 7.2 we improved pull request filtering. From now, you can filter and search pull requests by title and the description. Additionally, you can filter by the list by a reviewer user.

We will keep the ticket open since we know it's only a small improvement and we want to solve more cases you mentioned.

You can find more information in the Bitbucket Server 7.2 release notes.

Please, don't hesitate to leave feedback on the feature in the comments. This will help us to priorities further development.

      Hi,

as we are getting more and more pull requests merged, we are missing the feature to search through the list of merged/decline/open pull requests.
The Search should at least search through the title of the pull request. Filtering by Author, Reviewer at least would be very helpful.

      thx alex

Added from STASH-4307 - ability to search comment text also

          Form Name

            [BSERV-3856] Search for pull requests

is there a way to search by filename in the PR?

@dmitri - adding such an amount of money for some fairly trivial functionality will definitely drive users away from Bitbucket. Of course I appreciate your company providing some value add functionality but this feature alone would not warrant the amount that is being charged for the plug-in.

237 votes over 8 years!  I'd be happy if you greatly increased prices and implemented some of these GATHERING DUST issues.  Actually, just greatly increase prices and don't implement them, and then companies wouldn't default to Atlassian based purely on price and not quality.

Maybe I am missing something, but is there a way to just view all open pull requests?  Even ones that you are not apart of?  I am an Admin on my Bitbucket Instance, but I cannot easily get all the open pull requests.  Even a REST API or search way to do this would be good.  Or am I going to have to loop through every repo with rest api commands to get every instance of open pull requests?

            Hey Michael,

You can use the Awesome Graphs for Bitbucket app to get this data. There are two options for your case:

            1. REST API resources for pull requests.

Using them, you'll be able to retrieve lists of pull requests on the global, repository, and project level as well as pull requests made by a particular user. You can filter them with the state parameter to only include open, merged, or declined pull requests.

            2. Export the list of pull requests to CSV.

Export to CSV feature allows you to retrieve a list of PRs with their details, such as pull request creation date

            • Pull request last updated date
            • Author's username
            • Repository name
            • Project name
            • State

You can then filter them by state to get the list of open PRs only.

Noting that my vote is also specifically for searching through comments. An example would be times when I remember having a specific discussion months (or years) ago, and am trying to find it again, or find the code file it was on.

            The same here, absolutely!

            +1

Ditto; came here from BSERV-4307 to vote for this.
