Add the possibility to remove popular add-ons section from the Apps menu and add a scroll bar to show more installed apps

    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

There should exist the possibility to turn off the suggestions about popular apps.

This could be considered as advertising and some users may not want to see them.

Also, it'll be good if a scroll bar could be added indicating the users can scroll for more apps. Having no bar has resulted in users either A. not being able to find what they were looking for or B. thinking the apps have been removed and they can no longer use them.

Please, please, let me remove the "Popular apps that my company is too cheap to license" from the menu bar for which my company is already paying hundreds of thousands of dollars.

How is this ticket not resolved yet. It obviously creates headaches for IT/Security managers in all enterprise organisations around the world

It's crazy to me that this is a thing on top of all of the nickel-and-diming already going on in Cloud. Is your cash-flow really that bad or should we interpret this as yet another signal of your overwhelming distain for the people who administer these applications?

This will be a MAJOR source of confusion for our company's users who are transitioning from Jira Server to Jira Cloud. It's fundamentally misleading, because it implies these apps are available – which, in some cases, they are not and never will be, for policy reasons. Finally, I hope this is addressed soon, and doesn't become another of those tickets that's been open for 10+ years without any attention.

            Hi,

            https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/How-to-Remove-Product-suggestions-to-users/qaq-p/1721261

As mention in this post, I've try the "Turn of product recommendations" link in the administration and recommendations is still available.
Looks like there is an issue with option.

This is really annoying and a big pain for the administrators of large companies Please remove this app part or at least give the site administrator the ability to decide whether to show or hide it! We have the pain on Jira and Confluence

Echoing Jeanne Howe's comment above: it's unacceptable for Atlassian to inject what can only be described as advertisements into a paid product, especially for Premium users.

Same comment than above for Confluence Cloud.

Really misleading and unprofessional to show app that our end-users cannot really use without licenses.

Echo the previous comments above.  This is great for individual or even small business users but for larger and enterprise grade implementations, this is quite confusing to users.
