      Problem Definition

      When a Request is created in Service Desk, Organization Members only receive a notification that the request is created and must opt in to receive additional updates by accessing the Customer Portal and clicking on Get notifications

      Suggested Solution

      Allow Organization Members to receive notifications by default and then opt-out

      Workaround

      Organization Member must opt-in to receive additional notifications clicking on Get notifications on the request

            Hi,

            I don't know why such things are imposed by Jira manually and why we cannot edit it, it is a must-required feature.

            This is a key feature that has been missing for over 6 years! Without this feature we will be forced to look elsewhere for our ticket system.

            How has this been an issue for 5 years now? Please fix this asap, we are pushing several security alerts to clients a day and they are not going to click to opt in on all of these alerts.

            Please make this available by default. This is a must-have feature - customers require notifications to go to the whole organization.

            How stupid it is? Agent add organisation to inform a bunch of customers on changes in issue. Manual added customers receive notifications, customers in organisation does not?!
            Atlassian you are far away from reality by now. Listen to your customers, do not concrentrate on a few large main players. You fail.

            Our customers are complaining that they are not getting email alerts and its difficult for customers having more than 30-40 tickets per day to go and enable notification. This is very basic feature a service desk should have. Its 2021 and still no word on this feature!!!
