It seems that since the weekend, when we now add any comment to an issue, it is defaulting the name of the person adding the comment etc etc into the comment. It also asks us to assign whether to 'Share with customer' or 'comment internally'. How can we revert to how it was before this upgrade, because we have no external customers accessing, and the adding of the names in the comments is just a waste of space/time.

[JSDSERVER-2413] revert how adding a comment works

            Hi rod.kruse

JSD-2257 will be released soon, and will allow for the pre-populated comment template to be turned off.

In regards to any other changes that might be related to JIRA 7 and JSD 3, I would recommend https://confluence.atlassian.com/migration/jira-7 as a useful reference. JSD has used an Internal vs Public approach to comments since v2.0.0 when a v2 license (agent based) is in use. May I ask if you have currently been using a v1 license to this point?

If you would like extra ability to restrict internal comments by project roles, etc, I would recommend voting for JSD-829 and also watching for updates.

            Regards
            Matt
