      User would prefer a public signup option at the service desk portals page.

      This page urls usually ends with customer/portals, for example :
      http://localhost:8014/servicedesk/customer/portals

      This is how the page looks like when a customer access the link :

      There is no option to sign up on this page unlike the public sign up option available on individual customer portals. Customer would like the ability to sign up for all desk at once.

            In regards to a potential method to implement this, if there is at least 1 Service Desk that has public signup enabled, it would be beneficial to also allow signup on the /portals url?

            My vote has been casted.. This is a blocker preventing us from going live. The only option, aside from resolving this issue, is reproducing the page on another webservice simular to screenshot sd1 that has individual links to each individual customer portal and once the use signs up in one portal they can link back to the root (portals) page on jira service desk web instance

            I would also love to have this added. We have a large installation with multiple service desks, and having a central page to send all new users regardless of service desk would be extremely helpful.

            This would be ESPECIALLY helpful...The portal home page is completely unavailable for customers to sign up, unless they are already signed up.

            The only way to get around this is to make underlying JIRA available for Public Signup, but this somewhat defeats the purpose.
