      Atlassian Update – 29 December 2022

      Hi everyone,

      Thank you for your engagement with this suggestion.

      We have identified that this ticket is a duplicate of JSDSERVER-1012 Possibility to hide/disable the customer portal and help center, which has a larger number of votes and watchers. Given this, we will be closing this ticket to ensure that future engagement flows to a single suggestion and gives a more accurate representation of customer demand. The existing comments on this ticket are extremely helpful for the JSM product team and will be preserved for future reference. Thank you for all of the information you have provided to date - we understand that there is a strong need for this functionality.

      We have some Service Desks specifically use for Service Level Management (Internal purposes) and we have deleted the request types under those Service desks. Having that, it doesn't serve any purpose of making it visible from the Help Center as it is not meant for customer.

      As an admin, I would like to have the option to hide such Service Desk from Help Center.

            You can display specified service desk projects and request types only for some Jira groups using Extension for Jira Service Desk app. Read more about these features in our documentation.

            We also would like to use the portal function o support various customers with theyre own Portal.

            Again another basic feature that  is perplexing isn't part of the product.

            After 2 + years of people complaining about this inability to hide the internal service desk project from the help portal so that Customers cannot access it, you'd think the @ATLASSIAN would get it and try to include this basic request. Really sounds like their product engineers could care less about the Jira SD product IMO.

            We would also like to be able to hide a service desk from users under the condition that we do not show any Request Types on the portal. IT makes no sense to just show a plain project name if all Request Types are hidden anyway.
