Agents should have the ability to create a signature for their responses to Service Desk customers to prevent having to copy/paste or type out a signature for each response.

There may be a use case for the ability to set these signatures per agent per service desk, also.

            [JSDSERVER-1515] Customizable Agent Signatures

I cannot find neither canned respons or signature when answering as a agent in Jira Service Desk.

This is a common feature that all other helpdesk applications provide - how hard can it be?

Exactly, it's not just about being able to add the response. It's about automation and reducing as much clicks as possible for your users.

@rly: Thank you for your input. In my honest opinion I think you, and Jira Service Desk, are missing the point here. Canned responses does not equal signatures and one of the points is consistency. You should not need any user interaction to add the signature to each and every message sent. At the same time it would be nice to centrally manage signatures to be able to script them (Best regards, %fullname% %companylogo%) and mayby add important information based on company policy decisions. You will still have the canned responses according to your need, but it does not meet the requirements of many who have requested the signature feature here.

Just like you would click on signature in outlook you click on canned response in Jira. You can pay for heaps of features with it or its free for the basic features. I have multiple different signatures with subject etc that I use or just a signature, its free and it better than outlook

You don't need to pay for canned responses to use the basic features which gives you a signature. Its free.

Please re-open the request, this is not a canned response request.

Agreed. A canned response is not an agent signature.
