Overview
A dark theme is a user interface design that uses a dark colour scheme instead of a light one. This means that the interface's background is dark (usually black or dark grey) and the text, icons, and other UI elements are displayed in lighter colours (typically white or light grey).
Dark themes offer several benefits. They can reduce eye strain and make it easier to read text on the screen, especially in low-light environments. They can also make the interface look sleek and modern, and they can be easier on the battery life of devices with OLED or AMOLED displays, as these displays use less power when displaying black pixels.
