It would be nice if we could have a global user settings switch to make the entire UI a dark theme. I know that issue 13363 was closed as wontfix, but I’d appreciate this being reconsidered. Many devs, myself included, prefer a dark theme for our development environments. Bitbucket’s light UI stands in stark contrast to this. Since Bitbucket is a central tool to us developers, it’d be nice if it fit better into our development environments.

We've started work on dark/light theme switching for Bitbucket Cloud, with a beta release coming later this year. For ecosystem partners & app developers, we'll soon be releasing guidance on theming apps for dark mode.
