      Currently using the issue key in the search box on the my requests page does not find the issue. As the issue key is also not displayed (JSD-393) customers are not able to use the issue key to locate issues.

            [JSDCLOUD-708] Allow customers to search for issues by issue key.

            This needs to happen.

            It would helpful to let customers to search to any field they had in their form, supplementary to issue key that is created automatically by JIRA.

            We're getting a lot of complaints from our customers that they can't search for a ticket by the issue key. I find it hard to argue with them as it does seem like a basic function. Tickets can have very similar titles so it's not easy to search by title, at least the issue key is unique!

            Please note this feature is very important for us to have . That is because we will have 100+ issues from each customer using portal and it becomes very difficult to search with specific characters . Search with Reference number / Key number is recommended.

            Yes this is what we also need for our customers. So they are able to search with key number or from customer portal it is shown as Reference .
