      Problem Definition

As an agent, I would like to find out which organizations a customer belongs to even if they have chosen not to share the issue. This would allow me to run reports on organizations impacted by a particular issue.

      Suggested Solution

I would like to be able to view an organization field which shows this information, or use automation to populate other fields based on this.

We can also use the Customer service Management feature that shows the Organization details that a customer (reporter) is part of. For more information on the feature refer to Manage your customers and organizations

            Hello Atlassian,

I would like to get a list result set of the organizations a customer belongs to (similar to LookupIssues smart-field).  Then I would iterate through the result list and set fields to  specific organisation properties as described in REST Api I would also need a way to access the org-properties in automation.

            Hi,
I recommend you try our app Customer Details for Jira Service Management. You can find documentation of this app here. With this app not only service agents can collect additional information about customers and organizations. Also, customers can update this data on the customer portal: in dedicated dialog or in their profiles. In the case of organizations, they will be displayed on the Issue glance (on the issue view) in a separate tab called Organizations. So it's easy to check which organizations the customer belongs to.

If you have any questions, contact us via the customer portal.
