Problem Definition:
As an Administrator, my concern involves tracking the status of incoming email requests. I must monitor JIRA's incoming email requests, and quickly identify and troubleshoot when a customer has failed to send their email requests.
When connections fail, the Administrator doesn't get notified. We have to go to the connection screen to check, and that is not part of our workflow.
Suggestions:
Can you suggest how we can best monitor failures in this area? For example, does Cloud Jira/JSM notify these problems via Opsgenie, email or anything like that?

Hi,
I see that this ticket only has 10 votes unfortunately, nevertheless this is way too critical for organizations.
For my experience we have more then 10 projects in JSM which are using email requests, and it is impossible to check if there are some errors in mail logs every minute.
So, some kind of notifications or alerts would be helpful to support teams with email requests performance.
I believe this ticket could be an exception and be in Atlassian roadmap asap!
Thanks
