      Atlassian Update – 4 March 2021

      Hi everyone,

This is Charlie from the Jira Service Management, Server & Data Center team. We’re excited to let you know that we’re starting work on this suggestion. While we don’t have a concrete timeline on the delivery, we hope to roll it out soon and will update the status here when we have additional details.

      Kind regards,

      Charlie

      Problem Definition

When there are multiple Service Desk projects, the Service Desk portals overview, eg. https://<instance name>/servicedesk/customer/portals, will display a Search bar.
It is currently not possible to remove the search bar.

      Suggested Solution

Make it possible to remove the search bar in the Service Desk portals overview

          Form Name

[JSDSERVER-2488] Option to remove the Search Bar in the Service Desk portals overview.

Why was this feature only enabled in datacenter?? Absurd. Smaller organizations are more likely to need this than giant enterprises.

I should have expected nothing less at this point.

            Hi Charlie,

As this impacts a project we are about to complete on our service desks and I would like to set expectations to our customers, I was wondering whether at this stage of development you could give a rough eta, for example: will it be Q4 this year, or Q1 next year?

            Thank you,

            Joe

            Wanda-

See the linked issue for the Cloud version. There was an update in the last 3 days that says they need to work on it but isn't on their short term roadmap and exploring possibilities:

            Hi Sylwia,

Would this be automatically rolled out if we are on cloud based Jira?

If not, how do we upgrade?

            Thanks,

            Wanda
