Unable to upload attachment if the file name has special characters

      Summary

      Unable to upload attachment if the file name has special characters like / * " etc. An error will be displayed in GUI regarding the error.

      Steps to replicate

      Tried uploading a file called:

      • "@SaneAtlassian" (1,880) - mcannon@atlassian.com - Atlassian Mail 2014-01-15 10-26-16*

      The culprit of the warning is the double quote character " in the file name, because after removing it the file is able to be attached.

      Expected results

      File uploads without issues

      Actual results

      Log warnings are:

      "@SaneAtlassian" (1,880) - mcannon@atlassian.com - Atlassian Mail 2014-01-15 10-26-16 contains the invalid character '"'. Please rename the file and try again.
      Workaround

      Rename the file to remove any special characters, and then re-upload the file.
