Ability to see WorkBox-like notifications in JIRA

      Hi everyone,

      Thanks for your interest in this issue. This suggestion is considered a potential addition to our longer-term roadmap. We'll typically review this request in about 12 months time, at which point we’ll consider whether we need to alter its status.

      For the nearest future we've decided to prioritize other areas of the Jira Server roadmap, including the top-voted suggestions:

      Meanwhile, we have improved user experience regarding Jira notifications by implementing email-batching functionality, which is available in Jira 8.0 release and will be further improved in the following releases. You can find more details about email batching here JRASERVER-1369.

      Confluence 4.3 introduced WorkBox which has JIRA integration for notifications.

      This issue is to track the request of seeing WorkBox in the JIRA header.

            It's raised for long, seem no progress but kind of this feature is very basic for user experience if compare with others, I wish Attlassian consider to fix it as soon as possible.

            Come on people, give it a break. This feature is never going to be implemented. Atlassian is just happy their revenue is fine, why would they spend any more money and time to R&D?

            It somehow exists in the Jira mobile app. But I'm not using a mobile app to develop, I'm using a desktop. Why would you develop it first for a mobile app? I'm so confused.

            I strongly agree with above comments, you have to add this feature to Jira Server/Data Center. Why is it not there yet, when it's been in Confluence years ago?! We even get notifications from Jira in Confluence, is it a problem to add the same thing to Jira?!

            Our users have been complaining about this for a long time.

            please add this basic missing feature to Jira Data Center (+Server). It's already existing in Confluence and in the cloud versions.

            Makes no sense to pay extra for add-ons only for Jira DC/Server.

            From a sales/revenue perspective to add this could be helpful to bring more users into Jira - using it as a platform, by moving away from e-mails. So best case the invest will pay for itself or better.
