Hi everyone,
I'm proud to announce that with Jira 7.10 we have shipped Archiving Projects for Jira Data Center. Now DC admins can easily archive and restore projects together with their issues.
Regards,
Jakub Kurcek
Product Manager, JIRA Platform
Original description:
It should be possible to put a project into a 'held' state, where nothing can be done to it, or a 'hidden' state so it does not show up in the non-admin web interface.
I'm sure other states would be useful to others too.
