Problem Definition
- Currently, there isn't a way to track outbound email sent by Jira/Jira Service Desk(JSD)
Suggested Solution
- Provide Jira admins with an audit log where email delivery status is logged for every outbound Jira email
Allow admins to be notified of outbound email issuesThis is already logged in a separate request, please vote here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ID-7791.
Why this is important
- Allows admins to get a better idea of what is happening to outbound emails and allows them to diagnose delivery issues
- Majority of email issues can be resolved on the receiving side(customer side)
