NOTE: This bug report is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding bug report.
It is not possible from a JIRA issue to create a link to a Confluence page if the page contains the ":" char in its title.
When trying to create the link, JIRA displays the warning message "Unable to create a link to Confluence XXX as the application does not have any authentication configured.", which is absolutely wrong.
Steps to reproduce:
- create an issue in JIRA
- create a page in Confluence with title (for example) "TEST:PAGE"
- try to create a link from the issue issue to the confluence page using the url of the page
- error is displayed and no link created
Removing the ":" from the title makes the link creation possible.
As this case may happen quite often, this is quite a burden, also because the displayed error has nothing to do with the problem...
