Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a Confluence page in a space which contains some content
      2. Add a Page Tree macro to it (no parameters required)
      3. Export to PDF
        • Observe that the Page Tree is not rendered in the PDF.

      This markup wont be rendered if you export to pdf:

      {pagetree:root=@home|excerpt=true|expandCollapseAll=true|startDepth=3}

      Attached are:

      • How it looks in Confluence
      • Exported pdf file

      When fixed need to be checked with page layouts as well.

            [CONFSERVER-21186] Pagetree doesn't render in pdf export

            Hi All,

            The Page-Tree macro is not rendered on the pdf-export.

            However the 'Children Display' macro is quite similar and is visible on the pdf export.

            Still broken on 6.13. This affects us a lot as we are trying to produce exportable pages for delivery to customers and management and it doesn't look very professional where the page tree is missing from the export.

            I cannot agree with the priority and severity. Losing internal customers to sharepoint while confluence maintenance gets really expensive does not leave me in a good place.

            After opening CSP-220334 with Atlassian support, we were pointed here since the issue was a known bug. Kind of crazy - we use Page Tree macro on thousands of pages and this bug is a huge impact on us. Hopefully a resolution is in sight!

            Another one of these 7 year old goodies.  Really questioning expanding our Atlassian holdings with all these old rotting bugs we keep stumbling on.  We are seeing this too-- still hanging around in Confluence 6.3.1.

            Hi, any idea when this issue may be fixed? We are trying to export with the following markup which does not render to the pdf export

            {pagetree:root=ITIMTO Reporting|sort=natural|excerpt=true|startDepth=2}

            This is reported at https://studio.plugins.atlassian.com/browse/PGTR-60 .
            Need to update Pagetree plugin once that issue is fixed.
