Ability to ack and assign OG alert when it's assigned/re-assigned in Jira

    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

      Summary:

Right now, you can acknowledge the Opsgenie alert when it is assigned in Jira, but you can't set the assignee from Jira as the alert owner in Opsgenie.

      Suggestion:

Adding the ability to assign the Opsgenie ticket to the Jira assignee would make it easier to keep data accurate between Opsgenie and Jira.

This causes alert fatigue for our on-call folks and incident team. we already are working the incident and just by assigning it to us we get another alert.. if assignee alerts could follow the escalation process, we could pivot our current process to page the assignee instead of using the teams/responders portion of this feature
