Currently, there is no option to migrate all data from Assets For Jira from Server to the cloud.
Suggested Solution
- Support the export/import of Assets for Jira data
- Ability to migrate Assets for Jira data using Jira Cloud Migration Assistant
- Ability to migrate Assets for Jira data using full Jira XML export/Import
Why this is important
- Assets for Jira is largely used in Server environments and several customers rely heavily on its features
- When we perform the migration from Server to Cloud, we are hoping to minimize the data loss after the migration.
Workaround
- Using Atlassian's default features: Migrate Assets (previously Insight) data from Datacenter/Server into Insight for JSM Cloud
- Using 3rd party tools: How can Assets be migrated from Jira Data Center to Cloud or from one Cloud to another instance?
