      In addition to letting Board Administrators configure the fields that can be viewed on the "Issue Detail Views" accessed from an Agile Board, there should be possible to make those fields editable.

            hello, it seems that the issue status is still not editable. Is there already a feature request for that? Or is there a way to make the field editable? 

            We are using Jira Server 8.1

            Unfortunately it seems to be board-specific, I couldn't find a way to add a field (priority) globally.

            Can you please clarify how to enable a field to be inline editable? I can't find documentation on this ticket. Thank you!

            Has there been some regression in v7.3.0#73011-sha1:3c73d0e ?

            If I'm not mistaken, I was able to change the labels in the Boards Issue Detail View. For some reason this is no longer working for me.

            Tested on Chrome 56.0.2924.87 and Firefox 51.0.1

             

            Just upgraded to v7.3.2#73013-sha1:3d53c97 and the issue is gone.

            we are unable to edit the status in the issue detail view. We are using the cloud version. I am under the impression this fix was included in the released version on 8/29. Please advise how we need to proceed to have this ability enabled.

            novalin1389845588 - the limitation is replaced by a warning with the feature this Suggestion tracks.
            When it is available in JIRA Software Server you will see the change there too, please watch this issue for further updates for that release.
