Problem Definition

Many customers use third-party add-ons on their Jira environments which are not supported by the MSTeams for Jira. ScriptRunner add-on related BUG:
API-307-Unclear error message "An unhandled error occurred" when creating issue on MS teams and not filling a required field

We also have BUGs with disabled options of custom fields that can be selected in the issue creation screen:
API-300 - During the issue creation (on MS Teams app already integrated with JIRA using the MS Teams for JIRA Plugin) the Custom Fields (type Single Choice) display disabled options

We have workarounds applied in Jira that don't take effect in MSTEAMS:
API-301-Log Work still available on MS even if we disable on Jira

Suggested Solution

We would like to use the "MS Teams for Jira" add-on just to get Jira notifications and to view Dashboards configured in the tabs.

For this purpose, we need a feature that blocks users to manage the issues on the MSTEAMS side (update/create/comment/log hours on issues).
