Issue Summary
When the resolution email is sent out after resolving a ticket, it seems to be very specific on where you need to click to be redirected to the satisfaction page when using Outlook.
It appears that the right half side of the star is not clickable and only the left-hand side works properly.
Notes:
- This is exactly the same issue reported for Cloud in
JSDCLOUD-6017. - Some suggestions were created to address this behavior (e.g
JSDSERVER-5539) but this looks more like a bug in the HTML/CSS code.
Steps to Reproduce
- In a Service Desk Project, create an issue as a customer.
- Make sure the Satisfaction Setting in the Jira Service Desk is configured and turned on.
- Resolve that issue as an agent, this will generate the customer satisfaction survey
- As a customer, open the Outlook 2016 client and access the notification with the satisfaction survey
- Click on any one of the 5 stars to the "right side" of the star, you will notice it does not trigger a link generation and open the web page with the survey.
- Click on any one of the 5 stars to the "left side" of the star, you will notice it does trigger a link generation and open the web page with the survey.
Expected Results
The customer should be able to click on any part of the "star" to generate the survey link in the browser.
Actual Results
The customer is able to click on the left side of the "star" to generate the survey link in the browser, however, the right side of the star is not responsive.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
