Add the name of the agent assigned to the issue (Assignee) in the customer notification template.

    • We collect Jira Service Desk feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

      We want to add the name of the agent assigned to the issue (Assignee) in the customer notification template.

      We have not located the variable, as we can add this variable to the template of client notifications.

      Suggestion

      Add support for Assignee to available issue variables.

            I'd also like this feature.  In our "resolved" notifications to our clients, we have a link to an externally hosted survey which we want the "Assigned To" name to be part of the query string so that we can easily see who the agent was in the survey responses, rather than having to look up each individual request.  We've been trying the "person who caused the action" however that seems to be providing incorrect information (e.g. a service account rather than an individual).
