Misleading terminology in JSD automation "A linked issue is transitioned"

      Description of Problem

      The JIRA Service Desk user interface allows for the configuration of an automation rule that is triggered when "A linked issue is transitioned"

      This will not be triggered by a transition unless that transition causes the status of the issue to change. The automation rule will not be triggered for the create issue transition or any transitions that lead back into the same status.

      The documentation also states that automation can be triggered when "A linked issue is transitioned"

      Expected Behavior

      JIRA Service Desk UI and documentation is clear in saying that automation is only triggered when the status of the linked issue changes.

      • Proposing changing docs and UI to "A linked issue changes status" or something similar.

      OR

      The automation rule "A linked issue is transitioned" is triggered by all transitions, including the create transition and transitions where the status does not change.
