As a Service Desk Administrator, I want to be able to remove the Delete Issues permission from the Service Desk Customer Portal Access role.

      Summary

      When removing the 'Service Desk Customer - Portal Access' role from the 'Delete Issues' project permission, JIRA Service Desk indicates there is an issue with the Permission scheme.

      Environment

      Cloud - JST v3.3.0-OD-1000.259.0
      Server - Current

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a Service Desk project or open an existing Service Desk project
      2. Remove the Servive Desk Customer - Portal Access project role from the Delete Issues permission
      3. Load the Service Desk project

      Expected Results

      Users should be able to access the Service Desk without issue

      Actual Results

      A modal popup is displayed indicating there is an issue with the Service Desk projects Permission Scheme and offers to resolve the issue

      Notes

      The following popup can be seen

        

      Users in the Service Desk Customer - Portal Access role do not have the ability to delete issues therefore this permission can be left in place.

      Workaround

      The current workaround is to leave this group within the project role.
