Summary
JIRA Service Desk allows to disable the new email notification template by enabling this dark feature:
sd.email.conversational.notification.disabled
By doing this, JIRA Service Desk will use the old email notification template; however, Satisfaction Survey stops working.
Steps to Reproduce
- Go to <JIRA_URL>/SiteDarkFeatures!default.jspa
- Add this dark feature to disable the new email notification template:
sd.email.conversational.notification.disabled
- Enable Satisfaction Survey from Project Settings
- Create a request and resolve it
- Check email notification
Expected Result
Satisfaction Survey is sent with the email
Actual Result
Satisfaction Survey is missing
Workaround
Disable the dark feature enabled in step 2 above
