      Atlassian Update – 30 September 2022

      Hi everyone,

      Thank you for your engagement with this suggestion.

      I’m happy to announce that we have shipped this feature as part of Jira Service Management Data Center 5.3 release. You can now sort columns in ascending and descending order on the My requests page in your Help center. This way you can adjust the visualization of the data on the page to your personal preferences, navigate through the data with ease, and find the values you need faster.

      Please upgrade to the latest version of Jira Service Management to access this feature.

      The My Requests page in the Customer Portal should allow for some way to sort current requests as a customer using Service Desk.

      • Currently is sorted from oldest to newest.
      • A specific example would be Sort by Status.

            Clients need to be able to sort by status, so they can easily which ones are waiting for an explanation, or waiting for validation, done, etc.

            How many more years will it take to add an arrow on top of all columns in the service desk?

            Please add sorting ability to customer portal. It doesn´t make sense to buy for such a basic function an additional plugin.
            My boss is asking me: "What kind of state of the art tool cannot sort a list?" Is that the right thing for us?

            To quote David Puddy from Seinfeld: "This is BOGUS, man!"  How difficult could it be to add a sort feature?  Only way is to add additional apps?  SMH!  (And yeah, I voted for this.)

            Well, the only option for now is additional apps. Check out our app Advanced Portal Reports, it can do that and much more...

            We just started using the Jira Service Desk and the first customer that is using it, is using it with great enthusiasm. They only have 1 complaint... they can't sort their list of registered issues in the 'my request' (as organisation). They would like the list to be able to be sorted on priority, for example. 

            This feature would help us enormously!

            This feature would be excellent for our clients to maintain a large number of tasks with variable priorities and help manage expectations better.

            Please add user sorting to the Customer Portal. Ou customers request this from us and we can't help.

             

            There is not even a way to put your own code on the portal, like a plugin.

            Hi Larry, 

            Seems you're talking about the interface available to Admins of Jira Service Desk. 

            I am looking however for a way to let customers sort the issues from customer portal. Or did I misinterpret your reply?

            When you're in the queue, click into the search box, the dropdown unfolds, then click view all issues. This brings you to another screen, then click the Tools button in the top right, then it gives you the option to make changes in bulk.          This is SO clunky  lol
