      Problem Definition

      By having Service Desk Emails setting enabled we can't have incoming mail log and Debug mode for incoming mail.
      The workaround is to create a dummy incoming mail server with same details a Service Desk mail setting to be able to debug the incoming mail.

      Solution

      By enabling Service Desk mail setting the mail handler should be shown at incoming mail handler page(refer to JSD-1831) so it helps to have debug mode for the Service Desk too.

      Workarounds

      1. Create a dummy mail server with same details should be created in JIRA incoming mail and enable Incoming Mail debug at the Logging and Profiling page.
      2. Add packages com.atlassian.mail.incoming and com.atlassian.mail.incoming.jepp at the ‘Logging and Profiling page with Debug level logging
