      In some cases, the user is required to update few fields via the Customer Portal, which currently only allows users to add comments.

      It will be nice if it's possible for the user to be able to update and edit custom fields directly from the Customer Portal instead of going to the default issue view.

            This is a requirement, please allow few basic fields to be editable in Portal by customer like Urgency, Impact, SLA (may be just view option)...

            We have some custom fields which we would like to have on the customer portal and also allow them to be updated.
