Summary:

any issue operations such as commenting or resolve/reopen issue using transition button for Service Desk enabled projects in IE 11 causes the browser to hang. 2. Perform any operation, lets say, click on Resolve issue button
      3. Enter comment (optional)
      4. Click on Resolve this issue button
      5. JIRA will stay on that page, as shown below
      6. Refresh the page (F5)
      7. The status was actually changed to Resolved, and the comment got posted

[JSDSERVER-1305] Issue Operations do not work properly in IE11

I agree, this bug is specific to the "Deployments Panel (bamboo-deployment-projects-right)" module of the Bamboo Plugin. When that module disabled this no longer occurs. However, the related JSD-1201 is a JSD specific IE 11 bug, not resolved by disabling the Bamboo plugin. When the 'customer-portal-web-panel' module of the JIRA Service Desk plugin is disabled the JSD-1201 IE 11 bug no longer occurs.

            Hi Tyler.Carrington,
As my investigation above, I don't think that it's a bug in JSD. The root cause of this issue is loading bamboo plugin in JIRA view.
Futhermore, this issue has been cloned to bamboo team.

This is also occurring in JIRA 6.4.5 and JSD 2.5.0. As a company who's primary browser is IE11 this bug affects our users on a daily basis and it is giving our users the perception that JIRA overall is slow. Telling thousands of users to switch to chrome or emulate IE10 isn't an acceptable workaround. Is there an ETA on the fix for this @mdo?
