Customize the request types/request groups based on customer groups in Customer Portal.

      As an administrator I would like to restrict which request types would be available for customers by groups of customers.

            [JSDCLOUD-3665] Customize the request types/request groups based on customer groups in Customer Portal.

            I agree and have added my vote.
            We have thousands of Organizations and multiple products. When sone organizations access the portal, we do not want them seeing products they do not purchase. In order to restrict those Request Types/Portal Groups, we would have to Restrict the Request types and then Allow every Organization/Group apart from the few that should not see them. That's 100s of hours of work.
            Surely a 'Blacklist' should be an option alongside a 'Whitelist'?

            This is a must-need when we all are looking to rebrand and customize the customer portal. Having this feature will enable agents to hide certain request types from different user groups and make them visible to others based on the use case.

            Hiding the specific Request Type based on User, Group, Organization or User Scope is possible by using "Theme Extension for JSM". We have implemented the "Permissions" feature that gives control over what and for whom is visible on the Customer Portal.

            I asked whether this was possible at the Atlassian High Velocity ITSM event in London recently, and the representative I asked didn't know if it was possible. It would be a really useful feature to introduce, as it would allow us to avoid needing to create bespoke service desks per external customer in the event they needed anything exceptional.

            Hi Team,

            underneath the name of the portal group it just displays all of the request type titles as a wall of text which looks awful and will be confusing to users.

            Could you please add this additional feature to this request also. It will really help the users if they can collapse/minimize all requests under portal group.

            please, implement it asap, it's very difficult to explain to our customer that they can't have a segregation on customer portal
